What is the Fulbright program ?
380,000 alumni. 59 Nobel Prize laureates. 82 Pulitzer Prize winners. Heads of state and government.
The Fulbright program started in 1946 after the end of the Second World War through an initiative by Senator Fulbright from Arkansas. It has developed over the years through bilateral agreements between the US and partner countries, of which there are now 160.
Today, Fulbright is the most widely recognized and prestigious international exchange program in the world, supported for more than half a century through an annual appropriation from the U.S. Congress and by the people of partner nations.

Samantha Avila is pursuing a Master’s degree at the Université Paris Diderot in biochemistry and laboratory research at the Institut Pasteur.Matthew Fisher-Post is pursuing a Master’s degree in public policy and development at the Paris School of Economics and EHESS.
Julia Kerbs is conducting an independent research project on the French incarceration and rehabilitation experiences.
Sidney Perkins is pursuing the Interdisciplinary Approaches in Life Sciences Master at Paris Diderot and Descartes, and laboratory research at the Ecole Polytechnique.
Matthew Vanderpoel is a doctoral candidate at the University of Chicago in theology. He is working on research for his dissertation at the Collège de France.
