IS THE POLARIZATION OF AMERICAN SOCIETY SURMONTABLE?

Live webcast or in-person conference
Thursday, October 29th  –  5:30 PM

For many years, some authors have been pointing out that American society is more divided than ever: progressive vs. conservative. Indeed, recent events have shown that, beyond general statements on constitutional values on which everyone agrees, the country remains divided. But more worryingly, it is not the conservative-progressive opposition that is embarrassing, it is the lack of dialogue and listening between these two Americas. The task of the future American administration, whoever the winner of the November 3rd election is, will be to reconcile America with itself. Will it be able to do so?
